A collision between a Mercedes Benz (ML) four-wheel drive and a cargo truck at Juaso, Ashanti Region, has claimed the life of one person and rendered four others with injuries.
Narrating the fatal incident, an eyewitness said , the crash occurred Thursday, when the driver of the four wheel drive Mercedes Benz vehicle tried negotiating a curve without sight of the fast approaching cargo truck.
The driver of the Mercedes Benz was reported to have died instantly whilst the other four occupants, which included a minor, were rescued by the police and sent to the hospital for treatment.
The accident caused enormous traffic on the Juaso-Accra road with vehicles from both ends unable to cross over, the witness said.
