Nissan Auto Parts has taken up the challenge of providing some level of support for the HIPS Charity School at Weija, Accra.

The move is part of the corporate social responsibility of the company.

The support involves the payment of the salary of one teacher over a period of one year in addition to the quarterly education of the school children on traffic safety.

The management of Nissan Auto parts says it believes in the vision of HIPS Charity School to provide best quality education to the children in and around the Weija community.

That is the best possible start in life they could give the pupils, the management noted, adding it was the best way to support the school.

'We see this sponsorship as a major platform to educate children about traffic safety. We believe that when the children are educated, this knowledge can also reach out to their parents who drive. It is very important to us that we bring sanity to our roads”, says Chris Tsegah, Group Marketing Manager of   Nissan Auto Parts Ltd.
