Kumasi, April 18, GNA The Most Reverend Professor Daniel Yinkah-Sarfo, Primate and Metropolitan Archbishop of the Church of the Province of West Africa, has urged Christians to demonstrate true love and care for the vulnerable, the poor and needy.

He said the celebration of Christs death on the cross by the Christian community should inspire them to make sacrifices and work with passion to soothe pain, give hope and promote the common good of the society.

He gave the advise in his Easter message, made available to Ghana News Agency in Kumasi.

The Most Rev Yinkah-Sarfo said the period calls for peace, unity, reconciliation and family gathering.

He said the occasion should remind Christians of their baptism into the death and resurrection of Christ, hence there the need for them to remain steadfast in their faith.

The Most Rev Yinkah-Sarfo urged Christians to pray for those afflicted with diseases including the deadly contagious haemorrhagic Ebola viral disease in parts of West Africa.
