Takoradi, April 18, GNA - Christians have been urged to make sacrifices towards the Kingdom of God, because Jesus Christ sacrificed His life to save mankind from sin.
The Vice President of Holy Fire International Churches, Reverend Jonathan Amoah in a sermon on Good Friday in Takoradi, said most Christians have abandoned the cross, which signified the suffering of Jesus Christ because of persecution of the world.
He, therefore, tasked Christians to seek the Kingdom of God by leading lives worthy of emulation so that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ would be beneficial to mankind.
Let us remember the cross every day because that is where our life and salvation comes from, he said.
Rev Amoah said Jesus Christ suffered humiliation even though he was unblemished therefore his followers would suffer similar situation in life and entreated Christians to remain steadfast in all their endeavours.
