Okyeman Youth Supports Okyehene On His Reply To Prez Mahama

The entire Youth in the Akyemmansa Kingdom are happy and supports the reply from our great King Okyenhene Osagyefo Amoatia ofori Panin to the President of Ghana His Exe John Dramani Mahama, over his unfortunate comments that “Akyem Abuakwa is the headquarters of galamsey”.

Indeed, the great king from one of the greatest Kingdoms has spoken and the President must show some respect, decorum and circumspection to the people of Ghana and Okyemanmu by retracting his unfortunate statements made against the natives and people living in all Akyem towns.

It was also sad and unprofessional when some media houses took this issue as a political one, and called Johnson Asiedu Nketiah of a political party who is non Akyem to mock the people of Akyem. We have also identify an FM station called Denkyembuo FM in Akwatia believed to be owned by Baba Jamal, that it's behind the Press Release by some faceless group called Kyebi Youth For Development .

We are once again asking, the President that didn't he saw the conditions of our roads when he was flying in the Helicopter? He could have at least make mention on what he is doing about our bad and Galamsey roads than his unfortunate statements.

Okyeman Youth Association is again calling on the President of Ghana to get rid of illegal mining, repair all damaged and bad roads in eastern region and all towns in Akyem and should also create jobs for our people. Okyeman has three major minerals (Diamond, Gold and bauxite) and we are therefore advising the government that mining companies can be built is Akyem.

Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin has spoken well, and this time it's a challenge to the government to find out solutions to all these problems he saw during his tour as the head of this nation to Akyem.
