Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission will be converging on Bagh-e-Ahmad at Pomadze near Winneba in the Central Region – the agricultural project site of the mission – between Thursday, April 24 and Saturday, April 26, 2014.
This was contained in a release signed by Ahmad N. Twumasi, PRO of the Mission, in which he adds that this year's Jalsa is expected to be officially opened by Maulvi Dr. A. Wahab Adam, Ameer and Missionary in-charge of the Mission, under the theme: 'Moral Uprightness – The Foundation For Economic And Social Growth.'
Ahamdi Muslim scholars and government officials will address the three-day convention which will host delegates from all over the world.
The Jalsa is held annually in over 200 countries and was instituted by the Founder of the Movement, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian in India, 1835 – 1908.
The Supreme Head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim community, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V, is expected to send a goodwill message to the gathering.
