Prostitution On The Rise In Ghana

Prostitution On The Rise In Ghana
23.12.2013 LISTEN

Prostitution in this country is on the rise these days, because the institutions that have been task to obliterate it have given deaf ears and blind eyes to it.

The most serious thing about this prostitution business is that, majority of the prostitutes are not Ghanaians. So why must authorities sit and watch foreigners operate unacceptable so called prostitution business in this Country?

Since this kind of illegal business has no respect for moral values, am calling on all Religious bodies and leaders to join me in the cause to obliterate it.

Areas that this prostitution is taking a fast growth include Lapaz, Choice off the Mallam-Kasoa Road, Around Mile 7 etc…

Authorities must sit up to do something about this before they gets out of hands. I believe it is not a legalised business and as such we must use all the legitimate ways to combat it.

I believe and trust that as this article gets to my fellow Ghanaians, they will rise to support and combat this unacceptable business finding its way into every hood in Ghana, to protect our Children and the unborn Generations. For we can't afford to watch our children get into this business.
