TAMALE BASED ZAA RADIO DECLARES DECEMBER AS ENTREPRENEUR AND INVESTMENT MONTH

In line with their strategic mission of bringing investment to the Northern Region and their commitment to developing personal, professional and economic capacities and values of the people of Northern Ghana, management of Zaa Radio in Tamale have declared December as the Entrepreneur and Investment Month (EIM).

Speaking in an exclusive interview with iconic presenter Halik Musah on the station's Weekend Chart Show, Alhaji Mohammed Umar, Chief Executive of Zaa Radio revealed that the month long programme is an initiative seeking to serve as an avenue for accomplished entrepreneurs and business leaders to hold pertinent and insightful discussions on a wide range of investment, management and business related topics.

According to Alhaji Umar who is also an America based Chartered Accountant and a Tax Consultant, the programme will commence on December 12, 2013 with an entrepreneurship and investment forum which will assemble renowned bankers, international investors and finance experts within diverse sectors of business and commerce to interface with the public and share valuable insights and innovative ideas in marketing and attracting local businesses.

He elaborated further that the idea behind the program is to enlighten everybody engaged in one business or the other on customer care, branding a business, attracting funding for business, creating the right organisational culture, and how to prepare in order to take advantage of emerging business opportunities such as the new Tamale International Airport.

The EIM also features a section that will unveil to savvy investors the potential economic possibilities in Northern Ghana such as the large fertile land for crops and livestock, mineral deposits, textiles, the up-coming international airport and a haven for rich cultural artistry such as festivals, music, drumming and dancing.

The audience profile for the EIM includes people who run their own enterprises and companies, people in middle-level management, students, as well as retirees looking for something useful to do.

Zaa Radio 99.3 FM started operations in 2011 with the resolute determination to offer something new and different to radio audience in Tamale.
