Ghana winger Christian Atsu once again failed to make an appearance for Vitesse Arnhem on Wednesday night as they won 3-1 over fourth-tier side RVVH as he his paperwork issues are still not sorted out.
The 21-year-old was left out of Peter Bosz' first team squad as he was not picked for their trip to Sportpark Ridderkerk where they had to fight from behind to beat the Hoofdklasse side.
The Yellow Armies are still trying to get his documents ready to enable him to for the club.
Atsu left Portuguese giants FC Porto to join English Premier League powerhouse Chelsea on a 3 million Euro deal.
Chelsea in turn farmed him out to Vitesse, their feeder club in the Eredivisie.
However, since his return to Europe after helping the Black Stars win against Zambia in the 2014 World Cup qualifier, the wing-wizard has struggled to break into the Vitesse first team squad.
On Wednesday night when the side were playing guest to minnows RVVH it was widely expected the promising youngster would have earned his debut but he was overlooked by his new boss due to his unavailability.
Many have criticised Atsu's move from Porto and labelled his decision as a 'rush'.
