The HIV/AIDS positive pastor allegedly sodomized the primary four pupil, who happens to be a member of his church.

He was arrested by the Tema Regional Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ghana Police Service for allegedly having carnal knowledge of the victim at his house in Tema, Community Four.

Pastor Prince Mark allegedly admitted sodomizing the boy during interrogations and his caution statement, insisting that he penetrated the victim once because he was drunk.

The pastor reportedly stated that 'realizing that my libido was high I decided to masturbate after a while when I realized that I was about to come I rushed and inserted the tip of my penis into his anus (referring to the victim) where I ejaculated and that was all.'

During his initial appearance before the Circuit Court, he denied the offence.

The court also ordered that the accused person should undergo HIV/AIDS test at an Accra-based hospital where his status was confirmed.

The father and his 14-year-old reportedly became members of the Pastor Prince Mark's church after several invitations from him.

The boy's father later became an intimate friend of Pastor Prince Mark.

He permitted the father of the minor to visit his house during vacation between November and December last year.

As a result, Pastor Prince Mark managed to lure the victim to his bedroom and purportedly had carnal knowledge of the boy warning him not to disclose it to anyone or else he would die.

The boy suddenly complained of illness and the father sent him to the hospital.

After series of test, the innocent boy was confirmed to be HIV/AIDS positive.

Upon interrogation, the boy informed the father that Pastor Prince had sodomized him on five separate occasions.

The case was reported at the police and Pastor Prince Mark was arrested and subsequently charged.

The pastor, according to sources, managed to place a phone call to the victim's father urging him to accept an amount of money as part of an out-of-court settlement.

DAILY GUIDE is currently investigating how the pastor, who is in police custody, managed to call the victim's father to make such a proposal.

An Accra-based radio station told this paper that Prince Mark once called into a live programme of the station and denied his arrest.

He was said to have told the host of the programme that he had not been arrested when in actual fact he was in police custody at the regional command.

Issues regarding how he was kept in police custody instead of prison as ordered by the court after his last appearance is being investigated by the paper.
