Mensa Otabil And Duncan Williams Must Be Arrested For Causing Fear And Panic

What are all these ugly noises from these pseudo men of God, religious hypocrites and spiritual jingoists like Mensa Otabil and Duncan Williams who are always looking for nothing better than cheap attention and empty popularity.

These two suppossedly men of God above the sea level have serious problems in their churches that they have had no clue to solve them, yet they claim to hear from God about Ghana, and this God speaks nothing better than imminent destruction of the nation . This is what I called spiritual jingoism..

Listening to Otabil's emotional stentorian shouting during his Christ temple church on 14th july, he claimed God has shown him that evil is befalling Ghana by next month. I wonder why not now? All because apparently the election petition at the court results may be announced next month, so the begrudged party that may not win could be fuelled to start fighting. I want Otabil to know that this is not a spiritual revelation but psychological terrorism against the spiritually unsuspecting and religiously gullible few of Ghanaians, but not some spiritually wide-awake and discerning lot like us.

And here also comes Duncan williams, during the 1st July prayer meeting, made mention about the fact that a sword is about to visit Ghana if we dont pray. Giving empty and unnecessary frightening instances with that of Ivory coast and other neighbouring countries. But do you know what? Am completely flummoxed and befuddled that when will God give a positive and well assuring messages to these self-adulated and self-styled men of God that " say to Ghana that it is well with thee" When?

Every time it is evil and destruction that are on the precipe to befall us, which is totally at variance and runs counter to what is in the bible which some of us also students of the bible with degrees and not only the letter but also spiritually astute and discerned as well are aware of. Look at fire gutting everywhere in Ghana, when will this well- balanced good God say to these hypocritical prophets the solution to solve it than bringing American experts? With our light outages, which has now been a herculian problem on the nation and has been termed unpleasantly as Mahama's "Dumso dumso".

I wonder when will these Otabil, Duncan and another religious rabble rouser like Owusu Bempah, come out and tell us to our outmost relieve that, that says the Lord that Ghana's light problem has this or that solution. When would these so called men of God, go to their God who called them to help the nation out of these countless hydra.headed problems that are swallowing us up?

But take a studious journey through the bible and you will realise that the good and real men of God in the bible came to the scene as problem solvers and not as spiritual jingoists and psycho-spiritual terrorosts like these religious kleptocrats like Otabil and his hoodlums.

Infact, I listened to Otabil's supposedly prayer on Sunday 14th July on Citi Fm air waves and nothing ministered to me spiritually than letter that kills, so there is no wonder that everyone is lambasting him.

Anybody who has his spiritual antenae well in tune would not hesitate to agree with me without reservation that, that shout of Otabil were mere emotional noises that exude fear and panic. The church which the bible calls it the pillar of the house of God's truth, is a place for edification and comfort, so with prohpecies, but I wonder on the 14th july how many of Otabil's members returned home from that Christ Temple with joy and not trepidation.

Studying the book of first kings chapter18 and 19, when the King of Israel, Ahab and false prophets of Baal were messing up, Elijah locked heavens that there was not going to be rains. Notwithstanding, after these false prophets were dealt with, the same prophet Elijah came to the scence that there was going to be abundance of rain.

On the contrary, its so disturbing and distateful that our so called men of God today pronounce doom without alternative solution as if God's only pleasure is to see the nation in flame, so that the Almighty Father above could dance and laugh around with his angels. No, that is not the God of this Holy Bible whom every good and perfect things come from.

Again, in second kings chapter 6 and 7, the bible says there was such a serious famine on the land of Samaria that the people had no alternative than to eat up their children, but the real man of God Elisha came to the scene and pronounced that there shall be abundance of food tomorrow.

Do you know what? Elisha, the real man of God, who truly watches the spiritual gates of the land of Samaria, did not need any cheap notice or empty popularity from the people had then gone before God on his knees on behalf of the people without going to the air waves to call for frightening national prayer and after hearing from God who is interested in their lives and not the destruction came and said to the people that from the oracle of heaven that, tomorrow it shall be well with the land of Samaria and there shall be abundance of food. And i want to assure all Ghanaian unreservedly and without a shred of doubt that IT SHALL BE WELL WITH THIS NATION GHANA NOW AND AFTER THE SUPREME COURT VERDICT,

Otabil and that Duncan Williams should shut up and give us a break, enough with their spiritual jingoism and religious jacobinism. These two hyperbolic religious panjandrums, since the inception of their various churches in the early 80's have been at silence loggerheads with each other. Each of them want to prove that he is the so called man of God on the scence.

If you have taken a critical look, you would realised that at a national or ordinary church programs that Duncan has been invited, Otabil would never come there, and vice versa. Each feels he is more accomplished than the other. They are childishly and jejunely fighting a neophytic battle of Iam-better-than-you attitude. Some where in the early 90's Duncan began a charismatic movement of pastors with some circle of pastors.

And lo and behold Otabil never joined but started his own called charismatic network with some clique of pastor friends and those gullibles in his church. Even in the minds of Otabil and Duncan, there is a battle as to who speaks better, had his doctrate first, written more books, has a better church etc,?

And go near the pastoral circles of Otabil and Duncan's adherents and esoterics, and this is what they stupidly debate about. Please reader dont be stunned and bambozzled, as a matter of fact I dont want to bore you with too much about these so called spiritual supremos and behemoth.Simply put, they never see eye to eye with each other. Their public lives are far at variance and incongruous with their private lives. They should give us a break.

I always say that as far as the privacy of all those so called men of God are concerned, they may have the right as Ghanaians to talk about the policies of the govt but pastors have no moral right and credibility to criticise the life style of any politician, because the stinking stench going on in their churches you have no idea, but they come and stand there pontificating like angels. Forget about them. The visions and so called spiritual insights of these prophets of doom are bugbear to dismiss with expletives.
