Resourcery, Cisco organise seminar on video solutions

Resourcery Limited, a leading Ghanaian systems integration company, in partnership with Cisco, a global leader in networking, is organising a one-day business seminar on the benefits of video and voice solutions to businesses for the business community in the country.

It is also aimed at addressing the business benefits of the effective application of Cisco video and voice solutions  as it relates to the Ghanaian business environment.

The gathering is to be held at the Moevenpick Ambassador Hotel on July 11, this year, and will be under the theme, 'Breaking down the walls of communication.'

The Country Manager of Resourcery Ltd, Mr Ekow Thompson, noted that as the Ghanaian workforce became more mobile, business executives are beginning to appreciate the benefits and growing impact of video as an integral component in the development of their organisations.

He said the seminar would provide an opportunity for businesses to test and see how video and voice solutions, especially the one from Cisco, could impart positively on their operations.

"With competent professionals from Cisco and Resourcery, we aim to fully explore some of the technical applications of these business solutions as it affects our local businesses here in Ghana," Mr Thompson said.

The Business Solution Manager, (voice and video) at Resourcery, Mr Gbenga Adanlawo, also explained how technology was affecting global work practices, including how people did business in the country. "Technology is evolving so quickly to allow people to communicate and collaborate in a more social, more virtual, more mobile, and more visual way," he said, adding that the event will provide an opportunity for business executives to experience how seamless business video communication can enhance internal and external service delivery of services.
