It is only a dog that goes back to its vomit, not a human being. But a man like Eze Chikamnayo who still parades himself as the Commissioner for Information Abia State, having been booted out by his spell-bounded Governor T.A Orji, has gone back to his several vomits and is still going. Such is common to a man who has sold shame to the winds for the lucre of money.

Today, he has taken a former governor of Abia State as a project that he must insult and abuse at will for only reason best known to the betrayer and unlawful who embezzled N35m meant for Ugwu Abia festival in 2000.

Kalu being surprised that Chikamnayo could not live up to expectation showed him the exit door from office.

If we must recall, the news was awash in the newspapers of Friday 24th May, 2002, that Chikamnayo later begs Kalu.

Some of the papers sub-titled the headline: 'Former commissioner begs Kalu'. In those reports Chikamnayo publicly apologised to Kalu, saying that 'he has denounced membership of organisations working against Kalu's second term bid.'

What happened later? The same Chikamnayo subsequently joined the crowd of Kalu's opposition and was the group's strategist before the kind-hearted Kalu called him back because hunger wanted to kill and nearly killed Chikamnayo.

Later, Chikamnayo audaciously wrote: "I hereby wish to inform all Abians that I have totally, unconditionally and completely reconciled with my mentor, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu. I regret all the damages caused his reputation by my actions and words much of which was either published in the media or spoken in any forum.

I ask all Abians to disregard all such statements as they constitute part of a family quarrel and have been settled in a family way. I apologise publicly to Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, the governor's mother, Chief Mrs Eunice Uzor Kalu, the Reality Organisation and all followers, friends and associates of his Excellency who might have been hurt in one way or the other by those statements borne out of the frustrations faced at that time."

His call back emerged when Chikamnayo was staging a comeback and began to send emissaries to Kalu for people to plead on his behalf. Unashamed as they are, Senator Uche Chukwumerije who was a former Minister of Information, and is fighting Kalu today, pleaded on Chikamnayo's behalf.
