The family member said together with his stepmother, they went to the house of the now deceased man to find the gruesomely hacked body of the woman, Fugluuma Kundiasu lying lifeless on the floor close to the door.
There were multiple cutlass wounds on the head, neck and back of the woman as she lay dead in a pool of blood.
The 7-year-old grandson of the couple who was standing by the lifeless body of his mother also had cutlass a wounds on his forehead.
The little boy and his deceased grandmother were then rushed to the Wa Regional Hospital, on a tricycle.
