Great disappointment for Super Eaglets. The Nigeria under 17 football team has been beaten on saturday by Ivory Coast in the 10th African Cup of Nations.
Altough the two teams finished full time with an equally score 1-1, Elephanteaux lift the trophy after penalty shoot-out 5-4. Nwakali missed his shot, when all 5 Ivorians players scored.
In that final, Nigeria started well scoring just after 8 minutes by Prince Omega. But before the half-time, Chris Bedia equalised for Ivory Coast. Nothing to notice in the second half apart from Omega showing red after a bad tackle.
Just before that final, Tunisia beat Morocco in penalties 11-10, in the third place match to spot the bronze medal.
