Kuntanase (Ash), March 26, GNA - Dr Joe Oteng-Agyei, Minister of Science and Technology, has urged Ghanaians to put the past behind them and work together to push forward the nation's development agenda
He said regardless of their ethnicity, social, political or religious affiliations, they all had to accept to support the government to deliver on its mandate.
Bringing development must become the overriding concern of everyone, he added.
Dr Oteng-Agyei was speaking at a thanksgiving service organized by the Lake Road Baptist Church at Kuntanase.
He assured the people that the government would not disappoint them and asked them to continue to pray for God's guidance and protection for the political leadership.
Reverend John Wireko of the Gyinyase Central Charismatic Baptist Church, in a sermon, said the nation had every reason to be thankful to God for His abundant mercies and blessing.
He reminded all those in positions of trust to lead simple, pure, humble and honest lives. They should also be accountable to the people. GNA
