
Accra, Feb. 2, GNA - The 1998 Year Group of the Adisadel College Old Boy's Association (Santaclausians' 98), on Saturday congratulated Dr Sam Esson Jonah on his appointment to the Global Advisory Council of the Bank of America.
A statement issued in Accra by Mr Elvis Ahiahonu, Acting President of the Group, expressed joy and delight at the appointment.
The Group noted that by being the only African among what the Bank described as 'internationally recognised business, academic and policy leaders, he would share expertise and insight into the Bank's global engagement and help strengthen its worldwide relationship'.
The statement said Dr Jonah impeccable records and achievement have continued to be recognised daily not only in Ghana, Africa but the whole world.
It expressed the hope that with the world experiencing serious economic and financial challenges, Dr Jonah would meet the exceeding expectations of stakeholders in discharging his great responsibility.
The statement said the Group is very optimistic and confident that He would deliver on his new role.
'We thank him for continuing to inspire the younger generations to aspire for greater achievements in life,' it added.
