Zeno Radio Announces The Launch Of Immigration Nation

January 7, 2013 - New York, N.Y. – ZenoRadio, a wholly owned subsidiary of ZenoFon, Inc., has announced the launch of Immigration Nation (www.immigrationnation.us). ZenoRadio is a service for users to listen to live news, sports, talk, and music from “back home” on their mobile or landline phones. ZenoRadio has focused its efforts over the last two years within the US immigration population.

ZenoRadio believes that the 50+ million immigrants in the US are an underserved market. As part of its strategy, ZenoRadio has formed Immigration Nation, an audio content platform to educate, and appreciate immigrant causes, and their ongoing contributions to social and cultural causes within the US.

As part of its efforts, Immigration Nation recently hosted Mr. Samy Harmoush, National Project Manager of the Syrian American Council www.sacouncil.com, in its New York studios. The Syrian American Council is a grassroots organization devoted to promoting educational, civic, economic, and human development, as well as advancing civil liberties and human dignity in Syria.

Mr. Harmoush discussed the current situation in Syria, where he relayed many poignant stories from the expanding Syrian front. The Syrian American Council has been very vocal about the internet blackout, the potential use of chemical weapons, and the passivity of the international community, among other topics relevant to the Syrian population in the US.
