
Accra, Sep 21, GNA - Ideas Ghana, a Non Governmental Organisation which specializes in grooming young entrepreneurs, on Friday offered about fifteen young entrepreneurs and graduates the platform to present their business ideas and projects to the public.
The purpose of the showcase was to encourage young entrepreneurs to propose innovative ideas and solutions to various societal challenges and seek funding for their initiatives.
Mr Daniel Kwabena Pepprah, Project Coordinator, Ideas Ghana, said they were collaborating with venture capitalists and investment firms in their quest get funding for the young entrepreneurs.
He called on the entrepreneurs to be innovative as it was one of the best means to remain visible in today's competitive market.
Mr Pepprah said a similar forum would be held in Kumasi in a later date for other entrepreneurs who could not make it to Accra.
As part of the event all the fifteen entrepreneurs were given 8 minutes to present their projects to a panel of judges drawn from the business community who would select the best ones for sponsorship and grants.
Participants in the event included beauticians, architects, website designers, artists, musicians and authors.
