Kokoado (Ash), Aug 31, GNA – Hard working teachers in the Bosomtwe District are to be rewarded with prizes at a ceremony on November 23, Mr William Awuni, the Education Director, has said.
He said this is to show appreciation for the good job they are doing to raise the performance of the school children.
Mr Awuni said this when briefing members of the district assembly at a meeting held at Kokoado.
He said apart from the classroom teachers in both public and private schools, other education workers would also be recognized and appealed to all stakeholders to join hands with the directorate to help enhance the quality of education in the area.
Mr Edward Nti-Berko, the District Chief Executive (DCE), pledged the support of the assembly adding that they were determined to do everything to motivate teachers and create the right conditions for effective teaching and learning.
