Bawku (U/E), Aug 07, GNA - Chief Superintendent of Police Samuel Kweku Allordey, Bawku Municipal Commander, has called on national service personnel serving in the Bawku Municipality to be law abiding people in the community.
Chief Superintendent Alordey said this at the end of service week for national service personnel working in the area.
He said as the youth was the driving force for national development and it was their duty to ensure that the coming general election was free from violence.
Mr Kofi Owusu-Asante, of the Bawku Municipal Electoral office, called on the youth to exhibit a high sense of discipline during the coming elections.
Mr Robert Kolbila, President for the year group, said since the service personnel were the working force of the country they were prepared to be law abiding agents so to make society a better place to live.
He urged his colleagues not look up solely on government for jobs but rather take advantage of the numerous opportunities including the youth employment programmes that government continues create for them.
