Wa, Aug. 3, GNA – The Yari-Naa Alhaji Mogtari on Friday expressed condolences to Mrs Ernestina Naadu Mills, President John Mahama and the people of Ghana on the death of President John Evans Atta Mills.
Yari-Naa Alhaji in a statement to Ghana News Agency said the late President was committed to the development of Ghana and would forever be remembered for his excellent organisation of the Hajj.
Yari-Naa Alhaji Mogtari said the people of Wa would miss President Mills, who he described as a great friend, father, brother and a son.
Mr. G.B. Abu, Chairman of the Wa Branch of the Sissala Union, also expressed condolences to Dr. Naadu Mills and asked her to take consolation that Ghanaians have joined her to grief the late President.
He said the late President Mills fought for peace and unity and asked Ghanaians to emulate their departed leader for these qualities.
