I bet, my compatriots, no one knows yet what election rigging tricks cement block egg laying mosquito and his congress accomplices have hatched. I don't. But now the election man says there will be verification.
Before voting on December 7, a registered citizen's fingerprints must show she or he is the person so registered to vote.
After that verification, an elector will be allowed to use her or his all-powerful thumb to continue with doing little or nothing governance, the converted serious action packed Kufuor governance into a nothing going on (NGO) Mills governance.
The alternative, preferred by all compatriots seeking to advance the motherland, is to thumbprint and throw that Mills NGO administration out.
Past mosquito tricks have been many and varied. The crude ones include snatching ballot boxes to go and stuff them. Osono Akufo-Addo says that, this time, if anyone attempts to do ballot box stealing like they did to him in Abuakwa some years back, all die will be die.
In 2008, one crude mosquito rigging trick was to procure thugs to burn down the building that housed all the election materials.
Less crude mosquito and congress election stealing tricks have been transferring votes so late that they could not be verified and adding few votes to actual congress votes to strategically swell up congress numbers.
Transposition of figures to boost congress votes during collation of polling station results at constituency centres has been another congress trick. One infamous example is the Amoo-Addotey Ayawaso West-Wuogon constituency long drawn legal tussle over the final constituency results.
With verification, the motherland is assured of such tricks being stopped. Even if congress succeeds in stealing a ballot box, this time round, they will need to do the extra work of ensuring the thumb-printed ballot papers therein contained will match the verified figures.
This is where I am not sure if congress, congress of a block laying mosquito, has not found some mischievous ways of manipulating the verification system. I am referring you, my compatriot, to the uncompromising stance of the mosquito, on behalf of his congress, against verification of a registered voter prior to that person casting a vote.
I like also to draw attention to the mosquito insistence that the verification machines will break down. To me, it presupposes an evil intent to find a way to screw up the machines to a non-functioning condition.
Congress of block laying mosquitoes and engineers of judgment debt scum think collectively they can exploit the long periods people may have to wait to vote by creating confusion at the voting centres. They always know what they are doing except that they never do anything in the interest of the motherland.
They need to watch, and watch out well for sophisticated stealing. By this, I have in mind all the hullabaloo about census figures, registration figures, creation of districts and establishment of new constituencies. Given the less value for money legislature, the congress appetite for new constituencies smells gerrymandering.
There were all kinds of speculations over why the census results won't be public before the registration figures. True to some predictions, the two were announced at very close intervals. It will be interesting to match census and registration numbers polling station by polling station. That case, the detailed any possible devil in the census figures will emerge.
I am sure, he, who brought all these congresspeople to lord it over the motherland has now regretted. It is tempting to say good punishment for unleashing these evil elements on the motherland. The cynics will say it is good he is alive to see that his collective was a collective of greedy bastards.
It is good he is alive to see all these people who hailed and urged him on to execute Roger Felli for the sin of borrowing fifty thousand cedis to put a roof over his family's head are now building mansions from deviously manipulated and orchestrated judgment debt proceeds and conflict of interest block manufacturing.
The imposer has no justification for imposing directly on congress and indirectly on the motherland a no leadership which goes about claiming that it is a leadership.
Verification is here. The bishops called for it, the patriots called for it, all who care called for it. Now that it is here, the motherland needs a similar commitment to its effectiveness from all who care about her.
Congress people are unsure about a December, 7 win. They are rather cocksure they will lose. It is that desperation that will drive them to cheat to steal the December 7 elections.
In 2008, someone had said it is only in Ghana that the opposition can steal elections. On December 7, the incumbent must lose the elections fairly and squarely. Vigilance, says the election chief, and vigilant we must all be.
