ENIGIN PLC, a leading energy monitoring and reduction network, recently organized a technical conference in Cornwall, England.
Among the participants was Emmanuel Edor, Managing Director of Magsen Limited, an Accra-based agency of Enigin.
The conference brought together delegates from Europe, Asia, Australasia, Africa, North and Central America.
The three-day 'Technical Summit' brought together leading distributors from Enigin's 300 plus strong network to look at how they could continue to strengthen the company's range of energy monitoring and reduction systems currently sold to corporate customers on every continent.
Enigin's Managing Director Ian Wrigley attributed the event's impressive international turnout to recent hikes in global energy costs, increasing demand among businesses worldwide for Enigin's waste-cutting technology.
He said: 'Research shows that up to 43 percent of all energy a company uses is wasted. Our systems help them to hunt down and eliminate that waste. That's obviously an attractive proposition for organisations of any size, wherever you are in the world.'
Commenting on the summit, Mr Edor mentioned: 'Our summit brought together some of our best distributors, to look at the challenges faced globally and to identify solutions for the future, guiding our long term research and product development. It was great to include Emmanuel Edor of Magsen Ltd in that process.'
Magsen Limited supplies a range of energy monitoring and reduction solutions to businesses and other organisations in Ghana. Their core product is an energy monitoring system, 'Eniscope', developed by the team in England. Other popular innovations include retro-fit devices to reduce the energy consumption of refrigeration, air-conditioning, motors and lighting.
Enigin, in partnership with Magsen, are expected to run a period of formal review and analysis before releasing a finalized report and strategy later this year.
