
The Mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Honourable Samuel K. Sarpong has been honoured by the chiefs and elders of Kumasi Zongos for his contributions towards the upliftment of the Zonogs communities in the metropolis.
The Chiefs and Elder of the Kumasi Zongo have found it worthy to honour Samuel. K. Sarpong in recognition of his contribution and association to the progress of the Zongo community.
The Sarkin Zongo of Kumasi, Alhaji Sultan Saeed Umaru Farouk in his presentation, was grateful to the mayor for his contribution towards the development of the Zongo communities especially within the metropolis.
He also said, Hon Samuel. K. Sarpong has always responded and contributed morally and financially to the development of Zongo people.
Mr. Samuel. K. Sarpong thanked the Chiefs and people of the Zongos in Kumasi for the recognition and promised to continue supporting all communities especially, the disadvantage and deprived.
