A member of the NDC Communications Team in Tamale, Prince Komla Bansah has warned that the party could lose the 2012 December elections without the Rawlingses.
He is convinced that the party founder, Jerry Rawlings' absence on the NDC campaign trail could cause the party's shocking defeat in December.
He therefore advised NDC members in leadership positions to stop attacking the party's founder over his recent comments on the NDC's future and rather make moves to reconcile with the Rawlingses.
'We all need one another in this election and any attempt to as it were derail the influence of the Rawlingses in the fortunes of the NDC in the upcoming elections will spell the doom for the party,' he warned.
He stressed, 'The extent to which the party founder himself was very influential during the 2008 elections mobilizing and galvanizing the grassroots support base of the party, I always get worried about the development that is going on and it is high time the party's leadership acts quickly because this is not the time to apportion blame.'
