A man has reportedly killed his two children and seriously wounded his pregnant wife at Sepe Timpom, a suburb of Kumasi, after which he has gone into hiding.
The children who are between the ages of 1 and 4 were found in a pool of blood in their room at about 9pm on Wednesday.
Eyewitness told Luv FM's Kwabena Ampratwum that the wife's intestines gushed out after being stabbed in the abdomen. She was rushed to hospital.
The incident is said to have created panic in the area.
Bodies of the children have been sent to the morgue for autopsy.
