Half Assini (W/R), April 25, GNA – A 56-year-old fishmonger at Half Assini in the Jomoro District, Madam Yaw Ahunlu on Monday died on arrival at the Half Assini Government Hospital when she was knocked down by a motor bike.
According to an eye witness, Madam Ahunlu was crossing the main road at Amanzule when the bike hit her.
The woman was taken to the Half Assini Hospital by a Good Samaritan semi-conscious but was pronounced dead on arrival by the health officials.
Nana Frando, the rider, received some injuries and is responding to treatment at the hospital.
