
As part of The Lord's Pentecostal Church International (TLPC) 50th anniversary, the Ministers and Spouses Association of the church has presented assorted items to the inmates of the Female Medium Prison at Nsawam in the Eastern region.
The items worth about GH¢1, 000.00 comprises detergents, toilet rolls, bags of rice and sugar, crates of eggs, and sanitary pads.
Presenting the items, the chairman of the association Rev. Daniel Quarshie said, the association and church will continue to meet the needs of people as to when it is called to do so since it forms part of their objectives.
He said the church will continue to offer help to the needy and the under-privileged in society in the realization of the gospel.
Chief Superintendent of Prison (CSP) Margaret Dangah who received the items on behalf of the inmates thanked the church for their kind gesture and show of love to the inmates.
