Ghanaians enthusiastic to enter 2012

Accra, Dec. 31, GNA – Ghanaians across the country are feverishly preparing to keep vigil either at the Church, Pub or open air crusades to triumphantly crossover from 2011 to 2012.

Ghana News Agency tour of Accra during the day, revealed mixed reactions and expectations as most Christians prepare to pray into the New Year amidst singing and dancing in praise of Jesus Christ while others were preparing to hit the night clubs for merry making.

GNA observed that some workers who were not paid early enough for the Christmas festivities were now ready to celebrate both Christmas and New Year together.

In Accra, many worshippers would be expected to converge in almost all churches clogged in white apparels, signifying victory.

As the minutes ticked by into a new year, usually shouts of praises and prayers that could be heard from distances signifying the dawn of year would be expected to welcome 2012.
