Accra, Dec. 19, GNA – Primex Ghana Limited, Producers of Gino Products, in collaboration with Finder Newspaper on Monday presented food items, T-shirts and caps worth GH¢ 4, 000 to the Children's ward of Korle-bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

The items which included rice, tomato paste, cooking oil and spaghetti were meant to support children on admission and to help make them feel at home and enjoy the Christmas festivities.

Mr Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, Chief Executive Officer of the Newspaper, said the support was to put smiles on the faces of the children and make them feel accepted and loved during the celebrations.

Mr Eric Nyinaku, Manager in-charge of Human Resource and Corporate Affairs at Primex Limited, said Gino had over the years cared for the health and wellbeing of its customers and the donation was a reflection of its support.

“We want to provide a delicious meal for these children this Christmas to make them feel at home and well catered, "he added.

Professor Nii Otu Nartey, Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital, described the donation as fortunate, especially, coming at the time when it was needed most to support those who did not have the privilege of celebrating the occasion at home with families and friends.

He expressed appreciation to the two organisations for their kind gesture and appealed for their continuous support to the Hospital.
