Brooklyn, NY - A group of NDC members in Brooklyn, New York have decided to form a branch. This announcement was made on Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at a town hall meeting with President John Evans Atta Mills.
In brief statement, the Interim Chairman, William Mfum said the aim of the branch is to continue promoting the agenda of the party.
Mr. Johnny Walker, Founding member of the party has also mentioned that he supports the establishment of a national airline. This issue came when the President addressed Ghanaian community in New York and was asked whether he was considering the establishment of a national airline. He said having a national airline is part of our national treasure and must be in place of Delta Airlines.
Mr. Mfum has urged all the members living in Brooklyn interested to join and help President Mills win a second term to contact the branch.
