Airtel Ghana has launched a new interactive service platform dubbed, My Airtel My Offer (MAMO), which enables customers to choose from various Airtel offers that suit their individual needs.
A statement from the company said the solution which is for existing customers was based on the customers' past usage, current recharge behaviour, and Value Added Service preferences.
“On dialing 141 (One for One), customers can listen to the different offers at stake to select what best suits them - all customers that call into the 141 short code would get to choose from different products and services which reflect their preferred usage patterns,” the statement said.
Manager in charge of Acquisition at Airtel Ghana, Jesse Adjapong was quoted as saying the MAMO platform offered Airtel the unique opportunity to interact on a one on one basis with customers by identifying their unique needs and meeting them.
He added that in order to continue offering relevant products and services to customers, product offerings would be changed periodically.
Marketing Director at Airtel Ghana, Oare Ojeikere said “My Airtel My Offer” was yet another proof of Airtel's commitment to introduce to the market, innovative, relevant and customer oriented solutions.
“Airtel is focused on bringing to customers, services and products they need. We are moving customers from settling for what is only available to choosing what they really need”, he added.
Airtel is currently the number four biggest mobile network in Ghana in terms of subscribers, recording some 1,888,332 customers as at June 2011 ending.
