Nkoranza (B/A), June 29, GNA – An association called Association of Nkoranza Youth Libya-Returnees has been inaugurated at Nkoranza in Brong-Ahafo.
Organised by the Scholars in Transit, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), the Association aims at encouraging the returnees to engage in income-generating ventures.
Inaugurating it the Reverend Frank Peprah Twumasi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the NGO, called on the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to liaise with the government to support the returnees.
He Rev. Twumasi said the Nkoranza South District Assembly had recorded 1,850 returnees from Libya and appealed for support for them.
