Police have confirmed that four persons died on the spot in an accident this morning on the Accra-Tema Motorway.
Several others are said to be receiving treatment at the Tema General Hospital.
Speaking to Joy News, the Tema Divisional Police Commander ACP Augustine Gening said the real cause of the accident is not known but he suspects one of the vehicles might have crossed the other as they were both heading towards Tema from the Accra end of the Motorway.
Investigations are still ongoing to ascertain the cause of the accident.
