Potential students from around the world are invited to experience the University of Derbywithout leaving home - via an international virtual online open day on Friday January 7 2011.
Anyone interested in studying at the Universityof Derby, which is based in Derbyshire, in the East Midlands of the UK, can sign up to the international virtual open day. There they can speak to our academic staff and current students over the internet to discover what studying and living in Derbywould be like.
They can ask anything, from questions about a specific course, to accommodation, to what social activities there are to do in Derby.
The innovative international virtual open day uses WIMBA technology, meaning online visitors will be able to see exactly who they're talking to.
