He gave this assurance when he visited the houses and other properties damaged by the recent floods that affected over 700 people in the area.

The affected areas include Adoagyiri Township, Adoagyiri Zongo and Adamorobe all in the Akwapim South Municipality.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Dr Twum said the Assembly would clear weeds around the stream and remove all kiosks cited in water ways to allow the free flow of water.

He added that the Ghana Highway Authority would see to the re-gravelling of the Aburi-Nsawam road which was partly damaged by the floods to ensure the easy transportation of farm produce to the cities for sale.
