rLG Communications says not less than 30 thousand young Ghanaians would be engaged at its mobile phone assembling plant, which will be unveiled early next year.

Chief Executive Officer, Roland Agambire says the company's roll out plan is to capture 80 percent of the Ghanaian mobile phone market by end of the year.

Barely six months after outdooring its R-series of the locally assembled phones, rLG would this weekend launch its new G-series, which targets the middle and upper classes of society.

Mr. Agambire is confident the new range of phones would help increase the market share from the current 30 percent.

He tell Luv Biz Report the company's expansion drive in mobile phone manufacturing and sales is to entrench opportunities for distributors and retailers of telecommunication sub-sector.

Mr. Agambire says whilst giving Ghanaians the option to own quality phones at affordable prices, rLG also offers incentives to distributors to improve their businesses. He said “most of our local distributors have been supported with transport – each distributor in the region is entitled to a van – and they are entitled to merchandising from our central operation point. The Umbrella Project under the NYEP also offers a better chain of distribution to sell products in large quantities.”

rLG Communication plans to venture into five West African markets by close of year, including Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin, Nigeria and the Gambia.
