Nestlé Outdoors New Product

Nestlé Ghana Limited has introduced a new product onto the Ghanaian market. The product, which is called NIDO Essentia, is the latest to be added to the Nestlé NIDO family.

NIDO has been a constant source of children' health and nutrition since its introduction to the Ghanaian market. The company said its objective was to provide the best nutrition for children.

The Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana, , said NIDO Essentia has been formulated to meet the nutritional needs of all children.

“NIDO Essentia, much like our NIDO full cream milk is a milk-based product; but the NIDO Essentia has added a component of vegetables and plants' fat to it.

“This product is a single serve and has been developed with an affordable milk proposition aimed at offering Ghanaians with the opportunity of consuming the favourite NIDO in a smaller pack size,” Mr. Chedid noted.  

He further revealed that the new product is also fortified with vitamin C and Iron, which is usually deficient in our diet in Ghana, adding that it would help reduce the risk of anemia in growing children.

“NIDO Essentia is tasty, creamy and nutritious and it comes in a single serve that is convenient.

“It is important to know that with one 26g sachet of NIDO Essentia, you will receive your minimum serving size of 200ml glass of milk.

“2 glasses of NIDO Essentia a day will give you and your family the required benefit in milk as recommended by health practitioners.

“This nutritional requirement actually informed the pack size of 26g, compared to the other milk powder products on the market,” he observed.

Mr. Chedid confirmed that the aim of his outfit is to provide the best nutrition milk to its cherished consumers by giving them a perfect glass of good quality nutrition at an affordable price of Ghp 35.
