NEW: Ghana Tourist Villas offers an unforgettable holiday and business experience in Accra.
The first batch of winners of the much-publicised weekly Zain 'Live your Dream' promotion on Tuesday walked home with various prizes, ranging from free talk time (scratch cards) to cell phones and cash prizes.

This was when the company held the first among a series of draws, which are yet to be held, to determine who gets to win the ultimate cash prize of GH¢75,000.

Tuesday's draw saw a customer resident in Nkawkaw emerging as the first winner, taking home a cash prize of GH¢2,500, whilst the second and third runners up took home GH¢1,000 each.

Surprised as they were, some of the individuals who won prizes were full of excitement when they were called into the live programme, which was co-hosted by TV3's Roland Walker and Consumer Care Manager of Zain, Tara Squire, to inform them of the prizes they had won.

The programme, which was held at the executive theatre of TV3, was witnessed by members of the Gaming Commission, and members of the public, including Zain customers.

Those customers, who fell within the fourth to tenth winners, took home a Nokia 5310 express music phone each, whilst those who fell within the eleventh to twentieth category were given Avvio handsets.

The rest, included the twenty-first to thirtieth place, who took away GH¢50 worth of talk time, whilst the thirty-first to fiftieth were rewarded with GH¢20 worth of talk time.

In all fifty individuals won various categories of prizes.

The Marketing Manager of Zain, Ransford Nyarko, took the opportunity to encourage their customers who had not heard of the promotion, to take advantage and 'live their dreams' since there were lots of prizes still at stake for grabs. He thus urged Ghanaians to join them in celebrating what they had helped and made to become a brand name in virtually every Ghanaian home.

There are two methods of entering the draw.
With a top up of GH ¢2 would qualify as an entry, and the usage of every 50Gp of airtime to qualify as an entry.

The prize draw will take place every week with a larger monthly draw every fourth week.

The final grand prize draw for GH¢75,000 would take place in the third month, where one lucky winner would be given the chance to do anything they choose with the prize money.

Each winner will be given the opportunity to choose what they want to do with the prize and Zain will make it happen.
