NEW: Ghana Tourist Villas offers an unforgettable holiday and business experience in Accra.
I write to bring to the notice of his Excellency Mr. President, Professor and Educationist that the newly created Districts are really suffering; this is in relation to Ghana Education Service particularly.

These Districts were created in the later part of 2007 and to date have no rooms to operate as office. Greater Accra Region was privilege to have four more municipals namely Ashaiman, Adenta, Krowor and Ga South. These districts are by their nature suppose to Monitor and supervise teaching and learning activities from Pre-School to Senior High School but it is horrible to note that they have virtually nothing to do these stated objectives. Let me give you a snap look of what is really happening on the ground:

Adenta, has no office, no official vehicle and the staff are perching in a small single room at the Adenta Community School which is creating embarrassment for both staff and the pupils.

Ashaiman, has no Office, no Official vehicle, no Director, all principal officers appointed are still operating from the Tema Metro Office.

Teshie Krowor, same as above and Ga South too is presently located in a school put up by the Republic of China for the people of Weija situated on the compound of Odorgonno Senior High School which they have to vacate by September to pave way for the main school to take off.

With all these problems stated above, one is trying to believe that education was not on top of both past and present government, how can the government create such districts without offices and the needed infrastructures. GES distributed cars around November/December 2008 to most schools in the country without realizing that they have created more districts.

Mr President, these districts are trying in their efforts to do their best but with no corresponding infrastructures to work with. It is in view of this that I am appealing to His Excellency to properly settle us, so that we can offer effective supervision and good monitoring at the basic level by allocating to us a special budgetary allocation. Please, do not ask us to contact MDA'S because they themselves have no place to operate.

Thank you.
