Accra, April 24, GNA – The management of Honda Place Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of Stallion Motors Ghana Limited has introduced Honda City 2009 model saloon car on the Ghanaian auto market.
The car has extra active and passive standard features, including anti-lock braking system, dual SRS airbags, pre-tension seat belts and G-Force Control Technology body with a crush-proof survival zone to ensure maximum comfort, protection and safety for its users.
It has a new I-VTEC engine which ensures low fuel consumption, a spacious cabin with extra safety features, comfortable seats to prevent vertebral disorders and a uniquely complete new design for smooth-sleek drive making it a standard offer across the entire Honda streams.
The car, which is longer, wider and sturdier, has advanced pedestrian safety features fitted on its front body structure to ensure maximum safety for pedestrians during accidents.
Introducing the car, Mr Rockson Johnson, Country Head in-charge of Automobile Division of Stallion Motors, said it was the company's most significant model to strengthen Honda brand on the market.
He said it was designed with users in mind to ensure that it had all features to make both users and the car the most stunning facility on Ghanaian roads.
Mr Johnson said it had an aesthetically appealing strong and sleek exterior style with streamlined grill and sharp headlights and a unique 'Arrow Shot Form' design which gave it a powerful and imposing presence on the road.
He said with the global financial and economic recession in mind and the car possessing several distinctive features, management was offering it at a competitive price, ranging between 23,000 and 25,000 dollars with optional flexible payment terms.
Mr Johnson said Ghana would become the largest market for the vehicle in the West Africa Sub-Region.
The vehicle has a warranty covering three years or 100,000 kilometres.
