The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt Rev. Yaw Frimpong-Manso, has advised the youth to avoid indecent dressing and other immoral activities during festive occasions to avoid contracting the HIV/AIDS diseases.

He said putting on dresses that expose certain part of their body led to immoral activities which have increased the spread of the HIV/AIDS in the country.

Rt. Rev. Frimpong-Manso was speaking at the dedication of a 6,000 Ghana cedis Chapel Tower complex for the Obomeng Ebenezer Presbyterian Church constructed by Mr Albert Akoto, an Accra based businessman who is a citizen of the town.

He advised the youth not to waste their energy, time and knowledge on immoral act such as drunkenness, indiscriminate sex and drug addiction.

He said they should acquire knowledge and skills at their youthful age to enable them become responsible adults to lead the nation in future.

The Moderator expressed his displeasure at the way some girls dressed at the Easter celebration in the Kwahu area and appealed to parents to advise their children to put a stop to it.

Mr Akoto said he decided to build the church to enhance the propagation of the Gospel in the community.

He later launched a 30,000 Ghana cedis' Akoto Foundation for the construction of a mission house for the church and over 9,000 Ghana cedis was realised in an appeal funds to support the foundation.
