A Social worker has suggested a new approach for discussing national issues on non-partisan basis so as to provide alternative solutions to problems facing the country.
Mr Daniel Owusu-Koranteng said because everything is politicized, knowledgeable people are apathetic since they would not like to be branded, as a result, some good idea that ought to be harnessed for national growth are being missed.
Mr Owusu-Koranteng, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Accra, said there was the need for creating a new non-partisan platform as obtained in European countries particularly Germany where national issues were discussed objectively on non-political basis.
He said some of the challenges facing the country include solutions to problems related to health, education, environment, unemployment, depletion of natural resources.
