Homicide investigators are trying to figure out how a man ended up on the front lawn of a home in Scarborough.
Police received a 911 call from the homeowner on Bon Echo Court around 7 am reporting the lifeless body on their doorstep.
Homicide investigators have sealed off the area, they say there is a trail of blood, leading them to believe the victim was shot in the head near the Malvern Town Centre, and then walked back to the court where he died.
The victim did not have identification, so police are still trying to determine who he is.
