Mrs Nancy McDaniel, Prayer Director of Aglow International, arrived in Accra on Sunday to participate in a five-day national convention of Aglow International-Ghana.
The bi-annual convention is under the theme, "Come and Let us walk in the light of the Lord".
Speaking to journalists on arrival, Mrs McDaniel urged Christians in the country to pray for the country's progress because the 50th anniversary celebration of Ghana's Independence also launched great and good tidings for the country.
“Now is the time for Ghana to progress in all aspects of life and emerge as a shining star for the world,” she said.
Mrs McDaniel urged Christians not to be partisan in their prayers but endeavour to pray for God's guidance for their lives, actions and the overall progress of the country.
She was met on arrival by Mrs Dorothy Danso, National President of Women Aglow International-Ghana and Mrs Gifty Afenyie-Dadzie, Prayer Director of Women Aglow International-Ghana.
