All is set for this year's Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited sponsored Invitational Golf competition scheduled for the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday, July 26.
Mr Kwabena Oteng-Aboagye, General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club told GNA Sports in Accra on Wednesday that 100 golfers have been invited to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition.
He said the competition, which has Handicap 18 and 24 respectively as the entry requirements, would be played under the rules of the Ghana Golf Association and the Achimota Golf Club.
Mr Oteng-Aboagye said some of the male golfers invited for the competition include T.K. Gouvinus, Charles Tabi, Paul List, young golfer Daniel List, veteran Mike Ezan, Michael Aggrey and Nick Smallman.
Florence Etwi-Barimah, Mona Captan, Clara Price, Adelaide Owusu-Adjapong and Grace Afriyie would also battle each other for honours in the Ladies category.
There would be prizes for the 'Longest Drive on Hole 18' and the 'Nearest to the Pin on Hole 17'.
Mr Emmanuel Asiedu Mantey, Board Chairman and Mr Alhassan Andani, Managing Director, both of the Bank are expected to grace the occasion.
