Kofi Enning, 46, a teacher at AME Zion Primary School at Nkudwua near Beposo in the Sekyere West District, is in police custody in connection with an alleged defilement case involving 11-year-old primary four girl.
Assistant Superintendent of Police S.K. Kwakye, the Sekyere West District Police Commander said the suspect would be put before court as soon as the police complete their investigation.
He appealed to the public especially all interested parties in the case to be patient and co-operate with the police and stop unnecessary speculations that the suspect has been set free.
