Cloudy weather to prevail across entire country tonight — GMet caution Ghanaians

The entire country will experience cloudy weather conditions this evening going into the night as well as some pockets of rain in parts of the middle sector according to the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet).

In its 24-hour weather forecast issued on Friday, May 10, GMet indicated that "mostly cloudy weather conditions will prevail over the entire country this evening into the morning hours."

The forecast further noted that "few cases of thunderstorms or rain are expected to affect some areas within the middle and transition sectors of the country tonight."

The statement signed by Kirk Amedzakey, Duty Forecaster at GMet further noted that misty conditions can also be expected over forest and hilly areas in the early hours of Saturday according to the forecast.

Ghanaians across the country have been advised to expect cloudy skies tonight with chances of some rainfall in parts of the middle belt.

Motorists have also been urged to drive carefully in areas where mist and low visibility may affect early-morning travel.
