The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will carry out planned maintenance works in parts of the Ashanti Region on Thursday, March 7, to improve power supply.
According to a statement released by ECG, the maintenance works will commence at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm.
This is expected to affect power supply to areas such as Kokosu, Bohyen, Ohwim, Military barracks complex, Nyankyerenease, Bokankye, Kajetei, Cultural center, Pokukrom, Apatrapa, Hiawu-Besease,
Ntensere, Mfensi, Nkawie and Nnerebehi.
Others are Mpasatia, Abakomade, Kasapreko Factory-Tanoso, Mankranso, Barekese Headworks, Nketia, Asuofua, CONSAR Quarry, Adankwame, Naachia Quarry, Barekese Town, Offinso Township and its environs, Namong, Ahenkro, Kodie, Aduman and KCG Company.
The maintenance works form part of ECG's commitment to providing quality and reliable electricity to customers.
“We regret any inconvenience caused that will arise out of this exercise,” read part of the notice dated March 7.
